根据天下霸唱原著小说改编，故事发生在民国时期，胡八一靠着祖传技艺与曾在武馆当伙计的发小王胖子经营着古玩生意。两人在路上闲逛时正好和考古专家金教授及学生尖果相遇。随后几人同去五仙山，但却遭遇不测，进山后，他们走进乱坟岗、陷入迷魂阵，不断有人离奇死亡。胡八一利用家传技艺好不容易才破解层层障碍，找到了一个山洞入口，进入墓穴。进墓之后，发现此处是辽国一个专门为皇帝寻找宝藏的黄金将军的墓，里面有大量的辽国文物，当一行人最终找到了墓主黄金将军的棺椁时，发现棺椁材质奇特，正是由那块天外陨石打造而成的。金教授推测，黄金将军秘密给自己建造了这个古幕，并用这块陨石给自己打造了一口棺椁，希望能借此死而复生……
